Travel Guide to Port Charles When to Go Where to Live Who to Love and Who to Never Ever Cross in America Most Dramatic City ABC Lucy Coe Books Reviews
- I love reading this book! It is just an overall picture of life in the fictional city of Port Charles, New York. Perfect for the General Hospital fan.
- This is SO much fun to read! And it has lots of beautiful photographs too.
- I got this since I have watched this show since the 70's. It is very tongue in cheek and in the character of Lucy Coe's voice.
Brings back a lot of memories. It is great for any fan of GH. - This book is a piece of garbage!!! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! IT'S a sad waste of a tree and of your time.
- Oh my gosh, so much to love with this book!! It's just perfect for any General Hospital fan. Filled with information and glossy photos, you'll find such gems as "A Walk Down Lost-Marble Lane" and "The Family Secrets Tour". Set up just like a Fodor's Travel Guide, there's also really fun footnotes added to every page to keep you laughing. Alan Quartermaine's Diary is found in the back as well as Quizzes asking "What Are Your Port Charles Survivor Skills"?? You'll be treated to little known Port Charles places to see and be (Cannery Theater; The Ice Princess Ice Cream Palace). It's so great to have a fresh new book out for us soapers. They are few and far between. Kudos to The ONE and ONLY Lucy Coe for writing this!!
- This is a must for all devoted GH fans! Also a good guide for a new to GH fan trying to learn what the characters are talking about currently but referring to the past. The remaining soaps should do a guide book too and here’s hoping they put the other soaps back on the air!!!
- This book is an interesting way to catch up on General Hospital history. I liked reading about the past and present characters and the locations around town. However, the footnotes and comments (very small print) at the bottom of the pages were very annoying. I know they were meant to add some humor to the book, but they were distracting, which took away some of the enjoyment of reading. I plan to give the book to a friend who also watches General Hospital, and hopefully she will enjoy it more than I did.
- I wasn't sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised! Really fun, lots of nice glossy photos, and a great deal of amusing, informative, sometimes snarky, text. Genius! And loved the clever on screen book launch. All involved in the creation of the Travel Guide deserve a big round of applause... well done.
